Frequently asked questions
Every class begins with a gentle warm-up to help increase bloodflow, improve flexibility, strength and balance.
The warm-up will be followed by a Qigong, which is a slow, articulated series of movements designed specifically for promoting health.
The Qigong will by followed by training in Yang Style Tai Chi. Tai Chi is a low-impact form of exercise, initially designed for self defense. Today it is practiced for its many health benefits.
Each class will finish with a short Qigong.
The beginner classes are for all levels. You don't need any experience at all to join a class.
The movements are very slow, which helps new students to follow along. All students are encouraged to move at their own pace.
